Its been a strange few months which has understandably had an impact on some of the planning aspects for the new Skate Park. However we are pleased to report that in the past weeks the following has been undertaken:
Flood lighting – a flood lighting scheme has been designed with a local Electrical Contract and very much meets the needs of the the new skate park. We hope that once we have secure enough funds for the park we will be able to fundraise the money required for the lights.
UK Power Networks – if we want to have flood lights we are going to need power! Several meetings with UK Power Networks have taken place and we now have all the information (and prices) needed to know how we would get power to Trackside. This information will now be shared with North Walsham Town Council.
Network Rail – The field known as Trackside is very close to a busy Train Line (The Bittern Line). Meetings have taken place with representatives from Network Rail to ensure the lighting scheme will not affect the rail network.
