North Walsham commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings

On Sunday 9th Sunday, the people of North Walsham gathered to remember all those that gave so much so that you and I could enjoy the freedoms we have now.

Various events took place in the towns centre, marking the 75thAnniversary of the D-Day Landings.

North Walsham Play were asked to be involved in terms of providing activities for children to get involved with. We gave children the chance to design and make their own spitfire and/or decorate their own medal.

Face Painting was provided by Face Paint Me Happy, with some designs having a D-Day theme.
